Lynx Auth ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Lynx Auth authentication service and its associated web properties. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services.

- Account data: When you register, we collect your username, email address, and a hashed version of your password.
- Hardware identifiers (HWID): Our authentication system may process hardware fingerprints of your end-users' devices for licensing verification. These are stored as one-way cryptographic hashes.
- Usage data: We collect information on how our API and dashboard are accessed, including IP addresses, request timestamps, endpoints called, and response codes.
- Payment data: Transactions are handled through third-party processors. We do not store full card details on our servers.
- Communications: If you contact us via Discord or email, we retain those communications to resolve your inquiry.
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Lynx Auth service.
- To authenticate end-users of applications built on our platform.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity.
- To send transactional and service-related communications.
- To analyze usage patterns and improve our platform.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as required to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us via Discord.
Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be used to identify you.
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for data in transit, hashed storage of sensitive identifiers, and restricted access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

By accessing or using Lynx Auth ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms in full, you must immediately cease using the Service.
Lynx Auth provides HWID-based authentication APIs, a user management dashboard, and developer tooling. The Service is intended for software developers and application operators who wish to integrate licensing and authentication into their products.
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.
- If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You agree not to use the Service for any of the following:
- Distributing malware, cheats, exploits, or any software that violates third-party terms of service or laws.
- Bypassing, reverse-engineering, or tampering with the Service's authentication mechanisms.
- Scraping, crawling, or automated access beyond normal API usage patterns.
- Reselling or sublicensing access to the Service without written consent.
- Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
We strive for maximum uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access to the Service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in our Discord server when possible. We are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime or service interruptions.
All purchases are processed through third-party platforms. Subscription fees are charged on a recurring basis per the selected plan. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us via Discord within 48 hours of purchase if you have an issue.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice posted to our website and Discord.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lynx Auth shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or business — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes via Discord.
